I’m Anabela, a storyteller, international communications specialist and events director.
My background spans journalism, design, film and television, publicity, and marketing; across the media and technology industries.
No matter the medium, my work has always been about creating stories and experiences that people remember. In my early career as an art director, I honed my eye for detail, aesthetics and how people experience space, both on and off-camera. Next, as a journalist and editor for both print and digital, I learned how to cut through the noise and shape stories that truly connect with audiences.
When I stepped into the realm of Web3 back in 2018, my creative outlook and newsroom-built backbone converged with my concern for creating a more equitable shared future through decentralised communication, finance, art, and governance. I delved deep there, across many facets of the metaverse, applying my skills to where storytelling and design met community and culture at the vanguard of emerging tech.
Today, I craft global PR, communications and marketing strategies for Web3 projects, lead events where ecosystems grow, and host conversations that connect founders, KOLs, and investors. My work ranges from the successful launch of decentralised communication networks, DeFi platforms and NFT collections, to origin lore for metaverse worlds, and showstopping IRL activations at some of the biggest category events under the sun.
